Recently, its popularity has begun to rebound as its use is becoming more commonplace among contemporary artists. Tuned in 5th’s, it’s considered akin to the violin and mandolin family of instruments and can be played using the same scales and chord shapes. Guitarists will find it fun and easy to master, and it makes a wlecome addition to a wide variety of genres, including country, Irish, swing, jazz, folk, as well as contemporary pop.

Spruce remains the most popular wood for acoustic guitar tops, mainly due to its pristine tonal clarity.

- Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins
These pins really are an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage™ pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins.
