Maxim Baluyev


Maxim Baluyev received his music education at Rimsky-Korsakoff College of Music in St.Petersburg, Russia and at San Francisco Conservatory of Music. His Teachers include Albert Markov, Zaven Melikian, Denis DeCoto and Ian Swenson. He has been a member of Sacramento Philharmonic, Monterey Symphony, Stockton Symphony, Marin Symphony, Vallejo Symphony, Bear Valley Festival Orchestra  to name a few. He is a founding member of Trio Maxim and his solo appearances include San Francisco Concerto Orchestra and Solano Symphony Orchestra.

Mr. Baluyev has over 20 years of teaching experience and has been on the faculties of Almaden School of Music and Dance, Gingis Academy and Calder Academy of Music. He is now teaching Violin and Viola at Gordon's Music and Sound. Mr. Baluyev enjoys teaching students of all ages, abilities and musical backgrounds, helping them to develop a technique and a musical repertoire musical. He is passionate about creating enthusiasm for strings and a life long love of music for his students.

Mr.Baluyev currently serves as concertmaster of Solano Symphony Orchestra and is also a founding member and first violin of String Trio Maxim.
